Pursuant to Miss. Code Ann. 31-7-13, the Board of Trustees of Delta Health System, Greenville, Mississippi, hereby gives notice that it is soliciting general construction bids for Mississippi Delta Family Medicine Residency.

Bid documents may be obtained from McCarty Architects Professional Association online plans room at www.mccartycompanyplans.com or by calling 662-844-4400.

Bidder’s Experience: Due to the special health, safety, and welfare nature of construction inside a fully operational hospital, the owner request that bidders demonstrate successful completion of three hospital projects of similar size, scope, and complexity in the past five years on the bid form as part of the bid evaluation process. Provide experience information to include Project Name, Location, Construction Value, Completion Date, and Owner Contact.

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the project site on March 7, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Conference Room at Delta Heath System The West Campus (300 S. Washington Ave., Greenville, MS 38701). All Bidders are encouraged to attend.

All bids must be sealed, and the outside of the envelope must bear the bid number and contractor’s certificate of responsibility number issued by the Mississippi Contractor’s License Board. Miss. Code Ann. 31-3-21(3) requires any nonresident contractor submitting a bid to attach to the bid a copy of the current preference law or laws of the State where such nonresident contractor is domiciled. A nonresident contractor’s failure to attach the current preference law or laws to the bid will prevent consideration of the nonresident contractor’s bid.

All sealed bids must be submitted to Delta Health System before 2:00 p.m. on March 21, 2024, which is at least fifteen (15) working days after the last publication of the Notice to Solicit Bids. Bids shall be opened at 2:00 p.m. on March 21, 2024 in the Conference Room at Delta Health System The West Campus. This notice shall be published for the time and in the manner provided by law in the Delta Democrat Times, a newspaper published in Washington County, Mississippi and having general circulation therein. The notice will also be published with the Mississippi Development Authority as required by law.
